Two brothers and a nephew bought this Franchise in +/- 1985. They had an exclusive territory for the Greater Danbury, CT area, New Milford, the city of Bridgeport and most of Fairfield County, CT. Of course, if there isn’t another Franchisee around you may be able to take care of business in other areas too. The Owners worked over the years and did many of the dinners in the area along with offices and businesses including some of the Costco ceilings.
Now, the Owners are getting along in years and are too busy with their other businesses to work this business. They kept the Franchise, even though they had to guarantee they would buy +/- $2,000/yr in cleaning fluids from the Franchisor because a relative was going to take over. However, that relative decided to remain overseas and work there – so this business is now being offered for sale.

As described above, this business cleans those porous ceiling tiles that are that way because they help deaden sound. But by doing so, it also makes it easy for the tiles to attract the smells and accumulated dirt from the environment they’re in.

This Franchisee has the exclusive right to do business in Bridgewater, New Milford, The Greater Danbury Area, Fairfield County and the city of Bridgeport, CT. excluding the towns/cities of Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Norwalk, New Canaan, Westport and Wilton.
No lease for an office or garage is necessary until you grow the business to a size where the price for such things is not a problem. Supplies can be kept in your own garage or in inexpensive space.
The Owners tell me that an Owner (supervisor) and 2 laborers is all that is required for the average job. The more work you do, the more labor you might have.

You are getting the Franchise and Licensing agreement, use of their d/b/a name Coustic – Glo (which is part of the Franchise), prior customer list, training from the Owner, and I think from the Franchisor too, cleaning implements, cleaning formulas, paper tarps, cloth tarps, rods, sponges, 2 motor pumps, and a 1994 Chevy Astro 4 wheel drive Van.
